Shayla M. Smith

Chief Operating Officer

Shayla Smith is the Chief Operating Officer and holds a pivotal role in overseeing and impacting all key functions of the firm. These functions include Operations, HR and Recruiting, IT, Finance, as well as Administrative and Client Services.

Prior to joining the firm, Shayla served as the Director of Human Resources & Administration at Ziffren Brittenham, LLP, where she supported many of the firm’s core responsibilities. She has also worked as the Director of Operations for Wornel Simpson, a wealth management firm as well as various leadership roles within Target Corporation.

Shayla received her B.S. from University of California, Davis and actively supports and serves in membership in many non-profit organizations that invest in programs that create a foundation for children to thrive. A native of Los Angeles, Shayla shares her love for travel and sports with her husband and their two sons, creating invaluable family memories.
