Karen Howard

Senior Counsel

Karen Howard represents actors, directors, and producers in television, film and new media, with an emphasis on television. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Karen was Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs at CBS Studios, where she was co-head of the legal affairs department. Karen also served as Vice President in the legal department at Ticketmaster and was a corporate associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Karen began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Philip M. Pro at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Nevada.

Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA with a degree in Business Economics. She received her J.D. from University of Southern California Law School, where she was Managing Articles Editor of the Southern California Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. 

Karen lives in Encino with her partner and son.
